Additional information

Sirajuddin Moghul, an adept researcher, commenced his journey in the field of Civil Engineering at Pondicherry Engineering College, India, where he laid the foundation for his academic prowess. He further honed his expertise by obtaining a Master's degree in Building Materials from IIT Madras, India. During his master's program, Sirajuddin delved into the intricate realm of Plastic Shrinkage cracking of supplementary cementitious materials, actively exploring ways to mitigate this challenge and enhance the durability of construction materials.

With a wealth of knowledge and a passion for advancements in cement and concrete technology, Sirajuddin accumulated seven years of invaluable experience in research and development with India's leading cement producer and a prominent polymer supplier. His professional journey was marked by significant contributions in the realm of cementitious applications, where he specialized in concrete, cement, and dry mix products. His expertise extended to the utilization of admixtures and polymers, playing a pivotal role in shaping the landscape of construction materials in the industry.

In February 2023, Sirajuddin embarked on a new chapter as a Ph.D. researcher, dedicating his efforts to elevate the field of sustainable cement production. The primary focus of his Ph.D. research is to enhance the slump retention of Limestone Calcined Clay Cement, with the overarching goal of increasing its utilization and concurrently reducing the carbon footprint of cement. Through his innovative research pursuits, Sirajuddin strives to contribute significantly to the sustainable evolution of the construc tion materials industry.
