Lucas holds a Bachelor's degree in Technology in Civil Construction and a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of São Paulo. Currently, he is pursuing a PhD focused on the durability of accelerated systems used for 3D printing concrete.
His research interests include the ingress of water, chlorides, and carbonation, as well as shrinkage and creep in 3D-printed concrete structures. Through his work, Lucas aims to contribute to the advancement of sustainable construction practices and resilient infrastructure solutions.
