Roland Käser joined the group of Physical Chemistry of Building Materials (PCBM) as a scientific assistant in January 2020.

He grew up in Zurich and studied chemistry at ETH, obtaining his BSc degree in 2018 and his MSc degree in 2019. His master thesis involved carbene complexes and has the title “Attempted Synthesis of (PhCC)2tropMeNHC Complexes”. During his studies, he focused on polymer chemistry, organometallic chemistry and NMR spectroscopy.
