Seyma Gürel

Seyma Gürel joined the group in July 2020. Her main research interest is developing digital fabrication of concrete.

In 2018, she received her B.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering from Ozyegin University, Turkey. During her undergraduate studies, she had an undergraduate research fellowship and had been working on bio-based self-healing mortar and evaluation of rheology of bacteria amended cement paste. 

Before joining the group, Seyma received her M.Sc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Koc University, Turkey in 2020. Her thesis title was ‘Development of Novel High-Entropy Alloys for Biomedical Applications’.
